SAN ANGELO, TX — Early voting is underway in San Angelo ahead of the May 3 general election, with 621 people casting ballots on the first day, according to Tom Green County Elections Administrator Vona Hudson.
As of Wednesday morning, 117 additional voters had turned out for day two of early voting. Hudson described the pace so far as “steady,” noting that while turnout isn’t overwhelming, polling activity at the Edd B. and Frances Frink Keyes Building has remained consistent.
Early voting runs through Tuesday, April 29. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and Saturday, April 26, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 27. Voting is conducted at 113 W. Beauregard Ave.
On the ballot are multiple city and school board races, including the mayoral and city council elections.
Voters will also decide on two bond propositions: a $397 million bond for renovations and new construction across San Angelo ISD campuses and a $41.6 million bond for improvements to the CRC Roofers Coliseum.
