Pfluger Backs Trump’s Address, Says ‘America Is Back’

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman August Pfluger (R-TX) voiced strong support for President Donald Trump’s joint address to Congress on Tuesday, calling it “one of the most consequential addresses in the last two decades.”

In a statement following the address, Pfluger said the speech reaffirmed America’s commitment to strength, security, and "the renewal of the American Dream."

He credited Trump’s “peace through strength” approach with bolstering national security and noted that February saw record-low illegal border crossings, which he attributed to White House leadership.

“I commend President Trump for his leadership, and I am committed to working in lockstep with him to secure results for the hardworking men and women in Texas-11,” Pfluger said. “Texas is the greatest place to live and raise a family, and I intend to keep it that way.”
