WASHINGTON, DC — U.S. Representative August Pfluger (TX-11) was sworn into his third term as the Representative for Texas' 11th Congressional District.
Rep. Pfluger released the following statement upon taking the oath of office:
"I am greatly honored to have been given the opportunity to continue serving the incredible people of Texas' 11th District in Congress. Texas is the best place to live and raise a family, and it is truly humbling to serve this remarkable district," said Rep. August Pfluger. "I am also extremely thankful that House Republicans were able to come together today to elect Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House for the 119th Congress. I look forward to working alongside my colleagues to fight for a true conservative agenda in the new Republican Trifecta that will secure our border, promote American energy dominance, strengthen our military, and bolster national security. Let's get to work!"
In the 119th Congress, Rep. Pfluger will serve as Chairman of the Republican Study Committee, member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and member of the House Committee on Homeland Security.
