Texas Off to Record Start With Early Voting Turnout

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Texas is off to a record start with early voting for the Nov. 5 general election.

The Texas Secretary of State’s Office reported that more than 870,000 Texans voted in person Monday, which was the first day of early voting.

That number represents nearly 4.7% of all registered voters in Texas.

For comparison, 755,172 votes were cast on the first day of early voting in the November general election of 2020, which was 4.45% of registered voters.

Tom Green County had 3,321 voters show up to the polls Monday, which was 4.58% of registered voters.

  • Concho 92 (5.13%)
  • Menard 127 (8.38%)
  • Irion 79 (6.42%)
  • Sterling 55 (6.17%)
  • Glasscock 60 (7.14%)
  • McCulloch 345 (6.36%)
  • Coleman 561 (9.14%)
  • Runnels 298 (4.38%)
  • Mason 280 (8.54%)
  • Kimble 282 (8.5%)
