MILWAUKEE, WI — The conservative political commentator Lou Dobbs has died. Former President Donald Trump announced the news of his passing on Thursday afternoon, July 18, on his Truth Social account. Dobbs was 78.
"The Great Lou Dobbs has just passed away — A friend, and truly incredible Journalist, Reporter, and Talent," President Trump said. "He understood the World, and what was “happening,” better than others. Lou was unique in so many ways, and loved our Country. Our warmest condolences to his wonderful wife, Debi, and family. He will be greatly missed!"
Dobbs death was confirmed with an article on his website, loudobbs.com. He was a staunch conservative political commentator for many years and had several platforms where he discussed the various ongoing issues in our country.
In 2021, Fox News canceled Lou Dobbs' show. He has since appeared on a podcast and radio show on iHeart Radio dubbed “The Great America Show." However, he has been notably absent from the show over the past few weeks.
