SAN ANGELO, TX — Early voting for the San Angelo Police Chief Runoff Election has received 3,692 votes as of today, according to the Tom Green County Elections Office.
The candidates, Lieutenant Mike Hernandez and Sergeant Travis Griffith are competing for the position of Police Chief.
The voting breakdown for last week is as follows: Monday saw 673 votes, Tuesday had 692, Wednesday received 640, Thursday counted 531, and Friday recorded 596 votes.
As of 4:30 p.m. today, June 10, the total number of votes was 560.
Early voting is scheduled to end today at 7 p.m.
The final day for early voting is tomorrow, June 11, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the Edd B. and Frances Frink Keyes Building, located at 113 W. Beauregard Ave.
Election Day is set for June 15, with polling locations open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters can cast their ballots at the following locations:
