Turnout Steady in Early Voting

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Early voting in Tom Green County has drawn 1,939 voters through its first week, according to Vona Hudson, Tom Green County Elections Administrator, Friday morning.

In addition to the race for San Angelo Chief of Police, there is a Christoval ISD bond proposal and School Board Trustee election in the Wall ISD. 

The total includes 713 absentee ballots, with in-person voting concluding next Tuesday. This week, polling hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, polls will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There is no voting this weekend.

Daily voter turnout has shown steady participation, with Monday seeing 422 voters, Tuesday 480, Wednesday 438, and Thursday 433.

Residents can vote at the Edd B. & Frances Frink Keyes Building, located at 113 W. Beauregard St on the first floor.
