SAN ANGELO, Texas – The San Angelo Association of Realtors recently announced it was supporting Lt. Mike Hernandez for San Angelo Chief of Police in the municipal election May 4, 2024.
Below is the SAAR endorsement:
"The San Angelo Association of REALTORS® announces its support for Mike Hernandez for Chief of Police for San Angelo Chief of Police. Mike has an amazing breadth of experience having commanded four divisions of the San Angelo Police Department. His years of service with the US Marines and San Angelo Police Department have proven his dedication to serving. He has been heavily involved in school safety and has served on many, many boards in our community. The San Angelo Association of REALTORS® believes he is the best candidate to lead our police department forward. He is focused on efficiency and how to best use the department’s $25 million annual budget. We feel he will have a solid, positive impact on future prosperity, property values, and security in San Angelo.
