SAN ANGELO, Texas – Lt. Mike Hernandez has been endorsed by San Angelo Police Officer Rick Tinsley. Hernandez is one of the three candidates running for San Angelo Chief of Police in the May 4, 2024 municipal election.
Below is the endorsement submitted by Tinsley:
"It is my honor to support Lt. Mike Hernandez for San Angelo Chief of Police. I had the privilege and luck to work for and with Mike throughout my 20 years as a San Angelo Police Officer. I know him to be fair, firm and reasonable supervisor. He is a devoted law enforcement officer who has managed his career while still maintaining a faith filled off duty life. In my humble opinion he has done the right things to make him the best choice for SAPD Chief!"
