SAN ANGELO, Texas – A San Angelo Police officer and his wife have endorsed Lt. Mike Hernandez for San Angelo Chief of Police in the May 4, 2024 municipal election.
Brian and Cynthia Robinson penned the following endorsement for Hernandez:
"Mike Hernandez is a nice guy and a Christian man, but they all are. Here is what sets Mike apart. Mike is a local boy who understands San Angelo and it’s people. He is the most experienced, having worked in every division of the department. He has been a supervisor in our department longer than either of his opponents have lived here. He has the character and ethics to be a firm but fair chief. These are a few of the reasons Cynthia and I support Mike. If you are just voting for a nice guy, throw a dart. If you want the best candidate for police chief, vote Mike Hernandez!"
