SAN ANGELO, TX - Early voting ended with 7,882 votes, according to the Tom Green County Elections Office.
It wasn’t clear how many of the votes were Republican or Democrat.
On Thursday, Feb. 29, the county saw 912 in-person votes, with 846 leaning Republican and 66 Democratic.
Wednesday recorded 707 in-person votes, with 661 favoring Republicans and 46 Democrats.
Tuesday's turnout reached 813 in-person votes, contributing to a total of 4,531 Republican votes and 359 Democratic votes as of that date.
The 2024 primary election is Tuesday, March 5 and there are several contested local races in the Republican Primary along with 13 propositions.
On March 5, voting is exclusively permitted at official election day polling places in Tom Green County, open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. San Angelo residents can cast their ballots at the following locations:
