WATCH: Ag Commissioner Miller on Homemade Ice Cream & Bad Mexican Food

 

SAN ANGELO – Texas Commissioner of Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller was in San Angelo Monday evening to attend the third annual San Angelo Republican Women's Club Ice Cream Social at the VFW Hall.

Miller is an animated and sometimes controversial politician who has steered the Texas Department of Agriculture since being sworn into office in January 2015.  He was elected statewide as the 12th Texas Agriculture Commissioner in 2014.

Commissioner Miller is known as a straight shooter who doesn't mince words.

Commissioner Miller is a businessman who breeds and trains American Quarter Horses. In his spare time, he is a recognized rodeo cowboy who holds 22 world championship titles.  He is also a former Ag teacher and school board member.
