WASHINGTON, D.C. – New information revealed on Thursday shows that a bag of cocaine found in the White House was actually in an executives only area.
According to multiple reports, on July 6, 2023, investigators working the White House Cocaine Case have confirmed that the bag of cocaine was found in the White House West Executive entrance, not the formal West Wing lobby.
In a report by NBC News, sources claim that the cocaine was found in an entrance area between the foyer and a lower-level lobby. The entrance is near where some vehicles, like the vice president’s limo or SUV, park. It is one floor below the main West Wing offices and on the same floor as the Situation Room and a dining area. The bag was in a cubby in the room.
It was originally reported that the investigation should take weeks. However with the newly updated information the investigators are expected to conclude their work by Monday.
Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has refused to answer questions about the bag. Instead she has directed all questions to the secret service.
As the story has unfolded gamblers have begun putting betting odds on who's bag it was. For the full list see: BETTING ODDS: Who's Cocaine Was Found in the White House?
