Pfluger's Natural Gas Bill Passes House Subcommittee

WASHINGTON, DC — Congressman August Pfluger’s (TX-11) legislation, the Natural Gas Tax Repeal Act (H.R. 1141), was approved by the House Energy & Commerce Subcommittee on Environment, Manufacturing, and Critical Materials. Pfluger’s bill will help bring down energy costs for American families by striking the tax on natural gas production imposed by President Biden in the partisan so-called Inflation “Reduction” Act.

Pfluger represents San Angelo in Congress.

“President Biden swore to destroy the fossil fuel industry before he even took office,” said Rep. August Pfluger. “His war on American energy has driven energy costs prices on all goods and services up for all Americans. I am pleased that my bill to strike his reckless new tax on American energy producers has advanced through the Environment, Manufacturing, and Critical Materials Subcommittee today.”
