WATCH: Dr. Buckingham Details What's at Stake in Land Commissioner Runoff

SAN ANGELO – Texas Senator Dr. Dawn Buckingham is a candidate in the GOP Runoff election for Texas Land Commissioner and flew into San Angelo to visit with supporters Thursday afternoon.  

Buckingham was accompanied by Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick on a tour of West Texas cities Wednesday and Thursday.  

In the video below, Buckingham details what's at stake in the Runoff election: 

Early voting for the May 24, 2022 Runoff election runs from Monday, May 24 to Friday, May 20.  There are three local races in the Runoff election and several statewide offices as well.  

Candidates who win the Runoff election qualify for the ballot on the Nov. 1, 2022 general election and local winners will be sworn in on Jan. 1, 2023.
