Usery Endorses Kolls in Runoff Election

 

SAN ANGELO – Tommy Usery has endorsed Todd Kolls for Tom Green County Judge in the May 24 Republican Primary Runoff election according to a 15 second campaign video.  

Usery finished last in the four man field with 1,636 votes.  Kolls finished second with 3,551 votes.  

Lane Carter finished first in the GOP Primary with 3,894.  Joe Hyde was third with 2,013 votes according to the official results released by the Tom Green County Elections office.  

Since no candidate received over 50 percent of the vote, the top two finishers meet in the runoff election.  

There are three runoff elections in Tom Green County; County Judge, County Commissioner Pct. 4 between incumbent Commissioner Bill Ford and Challenger Shawn Nanny, and Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 between Stacye Speck and Ron Perry.  

There are also statewide runoff elections in both the Republican and Democrat primaries.  

Early voting for the Runoff election runs from May 16 to May 20 in the Keyes Building downtown.  Election Day is May 24.  The winners go on to the general election Nov. 1, 2022.  There are no opponents on the general election ballot as of this time.  The winner of the general elections will be sworn in on Jan. 1, 2023.
