Rincones Endorses Graves for Tom Green County Court at Law #2 Judge

SAN ANGELO – San Angelo attorney Andrew Graves is a candidate for Tom Green County Court at Law #2 Judge in the March 2022 Republican Primary.

Below is a letter from Jana Rincones supporting Graves.

"My journey with Andrew Graves started a little over six years ago. It didn't take me long to realize that Andrew is different from most attorneys, both in his integrity, respect for all people, and ability to handle a wide range of complicated legal matters. Andrew is truly a jack of all trades. As a private attorney, he handles both civil and criminal matters and applies the same diligence and integrity to preparing and executing wills and estate planning as he does to complicated criminal and CPS cases. I've seen Andrew handle hundreds of cases over the last six years, and in each, I've been impressed with him dealing with the person at the heart of the matter. Whether he was helping a spouse who had just recently become a widower with a probate matter or was working closely with the family of a juvenile who had gotten in trouble with the law, he always goes above and beyond, regardless of whether his work was court-appointed or retained. One of the most touching things I've witnessed in my work with him has been his connection to the kids he has served through CPS appointments. These are often difficult and heart-wrenching cases, but Andrew's commitment to doing right by those kids is unparalleled. To see their gratitude and the way they connect with him reinforces for me that I am working for not just a great attorney but for a good man.

He has never looked at his duty to the community and its citizens stopping in the courtroom, which is why Andrew has served on many different boards throughout Tom Green County. He freely gives so much of his time and legal expertise, not only to individuals but also to organizations. He loves serving his community and helping others. I've witnessed this day-in and day-out in the tireless work he does.

Andrew is the only candidate in this race with prosecutorial, civil and criminal court experience. This gives him a unique expertise and the ability to seamlessly move through the backlog of cases that have been plaguing the courts since Covid began. He earned the San Angelo Police Officers PAC nomination because of his unique qualifications and personal characteristics.

I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with him these last six years and I am looking forward to the future. He is the only candidate truly qualified and equipped to do the work of the County Court at Law #2 Judge, and he has my full and total support. "
