Nobles Endorses Wilson for County Commissioner

SAN ANGELO – A private land owner in Dove Creek has endorsed Lori Wilson for Tom Green County Commissioner Pct. 4. 

Here is Mike Nobles endorsement letter exclusive to San Angelo LIVE!: 

"My name is Mike Nobles.  This letter is to serve as my official, public endorsement of Lori Wilson for Tom Green County Commissioner of Precinct 4.

I am a property and homeowner in the Dove Creek Subdivision and have a perfect example of why Lori Wilson is the best person for this office. 

About three years ago, I was trying to work with the Christoval ISD on the use of a corner piece of my property for a bus stop, to provide a safe place for students and their families that live in our portion of the subdivision to load and unload the school bus. 

The project was basically dead in the water.  I couldn't get a response from school officials.  A neighbor suggested I get Lori Wilson involved.  She serves on our subdivision Board of Directors and has a reputation for being able to get things done.  

Lori was more than happy to help.  She not only reached out to the school superintendent, but also got the county involved.  People were slow to move on this, but Lori did not give up.  She worked hard to bring the right people together to make it all happen.  Thanks to her persistence, we were finally able to get a bus stop made that not only gets the kiddos off the street, but provides ample parking for their families while waiting for the bus to arrive.  If it were not for Lori Wilson, I do not believe this would have ever been able to happen.  

Tom Green County needs Lori Wilson.  We need her ability to work with others and bring people together to solve problems.  We need her resolve and determination.  

I cannot think of a better person to serve as our county commissioner than Lori Wilson.  She deserves your vote."
