Early Voting for Highly Contested Special City Council Election Ends Tuesday

 

SAN ANGELO – Voters only have two more days to cast a ballot early in person for the January 29th special election for San Angelo City Council.

The special election is being held to fill the single member district 5 seat vacated by Lane Carter who resigned to run for Tom Green County Judge.  

Running to replace Carter are John Austin Stokes, Karen Hesse-Smith, Lynette Lucas and Dr. Bryan Angle.  

Early voting is being conducted at the Edd B. and Frances Frink Keyes building, 113 W. Beauregard Ave., in the election office located on the first floor. 

Hours Monday and Tuesday from 7 am to 7 pm.  Election day will be Saturday, January 29th.  Election Day polling locations include:

  • Angelo Bible Church, 3506 Sherwood Way, Lobby
  • MHMR Services of the Concho Valley, Admin. Bldg., 1501 W. Beauregard, Jack Ray Room
  • St. Mark Presbyterian Church, 2506 Johnson Ave., Fellowship Hall
