SAN ANGELO – Republican candidate for Governor of Texas Don Huffines made a campaign swing through San Angelo Monday visiting with supporters at the new Tom Green County Republican Party headquarters and then with the San Angelo Republican Women.
Huffines is a former one-term State Senator from Dallas and is challenging Gov. Greg Abbott and former Texas GOP Chair and Congressman Allen West.
Huffines is a multi-millionaire real estate investor from the metroplex whose company he runs with his brother, Huffines Communities, is listed as the largest in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Huffines' first trip to San Angelo included the stop at Tom Green County GOP headquarters on Johnson St. Monday from 3 pm. to 5 p.m.
His visit also included remarks at the San Angelo Republican Women's meeting from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the VFW Hall on Browning St.
The GOP Primary in Texas is March 1, 2022.
