Local Man Announces Bid for County Commissioner

SAN ANGELO, TX – Dustin Barton threw his hat in the ring for Tom Green County Commissioner in Precinct 4 Wednesday. 

Barton will be on the ballot in the  Republican Primary that will take place next year.

For more than 20 years Barton has been a part of the Tom Green County Juvenile Probation Department.

"I am extremely thankful for the early support and encouragement in deciding to undertake this next chapter of service to this great county." said Barton in a statement.

The current County Commissioner for Precinct 4 is Bill Ford.
