Here are the Early Voting Totals for the Municipal and School Board Elections in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Just over six percent of registered voters in San Angelo cast ballots in the two weeks of early voting for the May 1 municipal and school board elections. 

According to Tom Green County Elections Administrator Vona Hudson, during the early voting period for the May 1 election 2,519 in person votes were cast. There were also 1,142 absentee votes making the total 3,661 early voting ballots cast.

In San Angelo there are 54,937 registered voters meaning only 6.66 percent of voters have made it to the polls during early voting.

In the previous Mayoral election early voting and absentee voting numbers almost equaled this years by totaling at 3,847. In that election 7,045 voters cast their ballots.

In this election there are three seats on the city council and three seats on the school board up for grabs. The election will also decide who will be the next Mayor of San Angelo.
