Changes for May 1 Election in Tom Green County Announced

 

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo and school district elections will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 according to the Tom Green County Elections office.  

The deadline to register is April 1, 2021. Voter registration applications postmarked by April 1, 2021 will qualify for the May election.

 Because there are multiple city single member districts and school districts involved in the election, it will be important for voters who have moved to ensure they have updated their address so they will be voting for the correct representatives.  

The Election office will have special hours during the week of  March 29 to  April 2.  The office will be closed  March 29, hours on March 30 – 31 will be 8 – 12, hours on April 1 will be 8 – 5 and county offices are closed for Good Friday on April 2. 

Requests for ballots by mail must be received by April 19. 

Early voting will be conducted at the Edd B. and Frances Frink Keyes building, 113 W. Beauregard Ave., in the election office and hours are:

                4/19-23                                 8 am – 5 pm

                4/24                                       7 am – 7 pm

                4/25                                       12:30 – 5:30 pm

                4/26-27                                 7 am – 7 pm

 

Several polling locations have changed for Election Day so voters will need to check to see if the location where they are used to voting is open for this election.
