Mayor, City Council Members Mean to Keep Their Offices

SAN ANGELO, TX – The mayor of San Angelo and three city council members are up for re-election and all of them filed to run again for the office they hold. 

The first day to file for the May election was Wednesday and Mayor Brenda Gunter along with council members Tom Thompson, Billie DeWitt, and Lucy Gonzales all filed for re-election.

Candidates filed May 1, 2021 election

Mayor:
Brenda Gunter (filed 1-13-21)

Single Member District 2:
Tom Thompson (filed 1-13-21)

Single Member District 4:
Lucy Gonzales (filed 1-13-21)

Single Member District 6:
Billie DeWitt (filed 1-13-21)

The filing period for candidates begins Jan. 13 and will continue through Feb. 12.
