Beto to Teach Politics at This Texas University

SAN MARCOS, TX — Texas State University announced Friday that the university is working to make former politician Beto O’Rourke a full time politics professor.

According to the University Star, on Oct. 16, the deal currently being finalized would make Beto a professor starting in the Spring of 2021.

Beto seemed to be a rising star in the Texas Democrat scene before losing to Ted Cruz in a race for U.S.  Senator.

After his loss he tried to throw his hat in the ring to become the next president.

He was beaten by nearly every other Democratic candidate including Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris. Beto pulled out of the race before Super Tuesday.

He will now teach the future of America politics at Texas State University in San Marcos.
