Citizen Center to Celebrate Ribbon Cutting on Monday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- On Saturday morning the Citizen of San Angelo held a "We Celebrate Diversity" event at their headquarters located on S. Chadbourne Street.

According to founding member Michael LePak, the event will be in anticipation of the ribbon-cutting that will be held on Monday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The Citizen Center is focused on celebrating diversity in this country, promoting participation in the census, and support the election process, regardless of political affiliation.

The center will promote voter registration and civic empowerment in the San Angelo community to citizens of all walks of life.

Several companion organizations will collaborate with the Citizen Center, including Envoys for Humanity, Powered by People, Jolt, and Voto Latino.

Everyone is invited to join the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday at 1623 S. Chadbourne.
