President Trump to Visit the Permian Basin Wednesday

MIDLAND, TX – President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit the Permian Basin Wednesday.

Sources say the President will arrive aboard Air Force One Wednesday morning.

Odessa and Midland Republicans will greet the President at a fundraising luncheon which costs $2,800 per person.

For $50,000 individuals can have a photo made with Trump.

The President will then visit an oil rig owned by Double Eagle Energy following the luncheon.

Officials have warned Midland and Odessa residents to expect traffic delays across the Permian Basin throughout Trump's visit.

This isn't the first time Air Force One has been to Midland.  On one occasion at the end of President George W. Bush's second term, President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush flew to Midland on Air Force One for a rally marking the end of his two terms as President.

Spectators in downtown Midland were treated to the sight of Air Force One flying over Main St. as the President and First Lady arrived.

President George H.W. Bush and President George W. Bush spent time living in Midland.
