Early Voting Starts Fast as Hundreds Flock to the Polls

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Hundreds of residents of Tom Green County flocked to the polls today for early voting for the March primary election. 

Early voting across Texas started on February 18. In Tom Green County there are a number of county and state officials that are up for election this year. 

This includes Tom Green County Sheriff, Tom Green County Commissioner, State Representative, and many more. To check out more information on who is running check out this article: What You Need to Know About Early Voting.

The Tom Green County elections office the located in the Judge Edd B. Keyes Building in downtown San Angelo is the only place in Tom Green County where you can vote early. Here is a video of building during early voting. 

Early voting in person in the Keyes building will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday; and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday Feb. 24 to Friday Feb. 28.  

Primary election day is Tuesday March 3 at these locations.
