SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo is getting a second chapter of Republican Women and the group's first meeting is Monday evening.
According to a press release, on Saturday, 12 January 2019, Texas Federation of Republican Women officially granted San Angelo Republican Women status under their leadership. Anita Betty, District Director for SD 28, made the announcement and San Angelo Republican Women (SARW) President, Ginger McGregor, and displayed it on our SARW Facebook page.
The group's first meeting on Monday, Feb 4 at 6 p.m. at the West Texas Rehabilitation Conference Center at 1925 S. University Dr. The time is 6-7:30 PM and dress is casual. There is never a charge and snacks will be provided courtesy of Rio Concho Catering. Meetings will continue to be held on the first Monday of each month, except June and July, at the same time and place. Please go to our San Angelo Republican Women Facebook page for updates.
The speaker will be Peyton LaBauve whose topic will be, “How we can win: Midterms, the Youth Vote, and the Future of the Movement."
Mr. Peyton LaBauve, an Angelo State University graduate, served as President of the Student Government Association and founded Angelo State’s Young America’s Foundation Chapter. Mr. LaBauve was recognized as Student Leader of the Year, a national award, and was a key contributor to Governor Abbott’s West Texas campaign. He recently attained a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, where he currently resides.
