Cruz Questions O’Rourke Funding Illegal Immigrant Caravan

DALLAS, TX -- The race for U.S. Senator from Texas is getting nastier by the day as early voting ends with election day just four days away.  Republican Senator Ted Cruz this morning tweeted questioning whether O’Rourke’s campaign is illegally using campaign funds to fund the Honduran caravan headed for the border.

"Two basic Qs every reporter should ask Beto today: (1) should the 'caravan' be allowed to cross illegally into Texas? (Beto refuses to answer.) And (2) did your campaign dollars illegally fund their doing so?" the senator tweeted.”  Cruz maintains O’Rourke hasn’t answered either of those questions.

In response, the O’Rourke campaign released the following: “Only days before the election, Ted Cruz shamefully and falsely suggested that the Beto For Texas campaign used campaign dollars to fund a caravan that remains hundreds of miles from the U.S.-Mexico border.

"Ted Cruz pushes fear and paranoia because he wants to divide and mislead Texans four days before this election," said Beto O'Rourke. "We should be bringing people together and defining ourselves not by who we are scared of but what we want to achieve."

Cruz leads O’Rourke in the latest RealClearPolitics poll by 6.5 percent.  Early voting continues through 7 p.m. Friday. Election day is Tuesday.

Bwaaahaahaaaa! Is this the only thing Lyin' Ted has got to offer Texans? Worst yet, the reporting of it. Rafael learned from his daddy trump. I remember the 5 mistresses and the porn addiction trump accused Rafael of. Good stuff.

Salty...

Cruz is a vile, nasty creature exceeded in his perfidy only by that orange-haired pig currently stinking up the Oval Office. These questions remind one of Trump's attempting to link Cruz's father with the assassination of JFK. These clowns are peas in a pod; rather, they are lumps of waste in the same cesspool.

I fear the evil of Cruz and Trump far more than I do that gaggle of bedraggled, desperate souls headed north seeking a better life.

You two are obviously suffering from an acute case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. The truth will set you free. Project Veritas caught the Beto campaign red-handed using campaign dollars to fund the caravan that is attempting to invade our southern border.

Your histrionics are typical of the Left in this country. You're embarrassing yourselves....

Well funded, well organized caravans, right before mid terms. Coincidence?

True, many of these people are just seeking a better life, and those who are using them as political pawns should be ashamed, or at least come forth and call it as many of us see it.

Mexico has first dibs on asylum seekers, we'll end up with the garbage even Mexico can't stomach.

I hear you bd about the president. He is our commander in chief and I voted for him. Only thing would make me want to hop off a bridge is if somebody said vote Democrat or die. You couldn't send an organized caravan of trained ninjas, gang members, deep state assassins and metrosexuals giving out free taco bell gift cards to get me to vote for a Democrat these days. You'd be better off just gettin rid of me before I'd mess up like that. Like RR has his special move for bears, I would literally use my psychic powers that I discovered I had as a POW in Grenada to protect America and the man Jesus Christ chose to be the leader of the free world.

God bless president Trump and may legions of angels protect him at all times.
