Texas 3rd Court of Appeals Justices Headline Republican Round-Up

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The Tom Green County Republican Party is holding its annual Round-Up Dinner and Fundraiser Thursday evening at Ft. Concho.  

According to the Tom Green County GOP Facebook page, Texas 3rd Court of Appeals Justices Scott Field, David Puryear, Cindy Bourland and Mike Toth will be in San Angelo for the event.

The 3rd Court of Appeals hears cases appealed from 24 Texas counties including Travis and Tom Green which means it is the court of appeals for the Texas Legislature.  There are five justices and a chief justice on the court. The justices are elected to four year terms.

The Round-Up is a fundraiser and show of support for Tom Green County Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace Susan Werner.  Special guests are State Representative Drew Darby and his wife Clarissa.

The GOP Round-Up will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ft. Concho Commissary at 702 Burgess St.

The dinner is $25 for one or $40 for two and children under 12 are $5.
