My grandparents were life long Democrats. They were hard working, normal every day folks who grew up during the Depression. Subsequently, they took a dim view of and never trusted Republicans. I remember one of my grandfather's referring to armadillos as "Hoover hogs."
My how times have changed. It is Democrats who promote the nanny state and a poor economy. It is Democrats who want open borders and the crime/costs associated with such. It is Democrats who support expensive health care under governmental control. It is Democrats who are actually espousing the virtues of socialism, which has been, and is, an abject failure anywhere in the world it's attempted.
The Democrat party leadership is currently composed of fear mongering race baiting socialists who care absolutely nothing about their constituents or the citizens of our country. Democratic leadership cares about one thing - power. They still haven't recovered from the defeat of Ms. Clinton 2 years ago. There are 5 stages of grief and the Democrats are stymied somewhere between Denial and Anger. They simply can not move on.
So, when/if you decide to register to vote (which is a privilege the Democrats would love to take away) think not only of Democrat's lust for power at all costs, think also of the current filthy circus Democrats have created in the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to OUR Supreme Court. Democrats are literally trying to destroy a decent, qualified man, his wife and young girls....for what? Power
Register as a Democrat in my grandparent's day? Maybe. In the current Democrat party? As an American who loves my country, absolutely, unequivocally, unabashedly, decidedly and without question, NO. Or, in the words of Hillary's dossier comrades, nyet.
