San Angelo State Park to Host Wildlife Viewing, Guided Hikes, and More in February

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo State Park is hosting a series of nature events throughout February. 

The park will feature Bison & Longhorn Viewing every Wednesday and Saturday at 10 a.m. Other scheduled events include:

  • Feb. 8: Skins & Skulls at the Wildlife Viewing Blind, 2:30-4 p.m.
  • Feb. 9: Nature Pairings at Chaparral Pavilion, 2-3:30 p.m.
  • Feb. 12: Full Moon Hike at Isabel Harte Multi-Use Area (Boat Ramp), 7-8:30 p.m.
  • Feb. 15: Birding 101 at the Playground Parking Lot, with sessions from 8:30-9:30 a.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m.
  • Feb. 22: Bark Ranger at the North Concho Parking Lot, 2-3:30 p.m.
  • Feb. 23: Women’s Hike at Burkett Trailhead, 2-4 p.m.
