Brownwood Continues Improvements to Riverside Park

BROWNWOOD, TX — Brownwood continues to beautify its city with more work on Riverside Park being completed.

The City of Brownwood's Facebook page announced Tuesday that work has been progressing with the addition of an 8-foot-wide walking trail extension and motion-activated solar lighting at Riverside Park, located at 506 Riverside Drive.

The solar lights stay lit throughout the night, and the motion sensing lighting increases brightness when movement is detected.

Work is still being done on the playground, and more solar lights are set to be installed.

The 46-acre park on Pecan Bayou also included RV hookups, a boat ramp, nature trail, large pavilion and an 18-hole disc golf course.
