Dry, Warmer Weather Expected Across Concho Valley This Week

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Mostly sunny skies and warmer conditions are expected across the Concho Valley today, with high temperatures ranging from the mid to upper 80s, according to the National Weather Service in San Angelo.

Forecasters say some morning clouds will clear by the afternoon. A few showers or an isolated thunderstorm may develop over far southwest portions of the region, but otherwise dry weather will prevail. Southeast winds are forecast at 5 to 10 mph.

Temperatures are expected to climb steadily through the week as high pressure builds over the area. Highs are forecast to reach the mid-90s by midweek, with Abilene projected to hit 97 degrees Thursday and Friday. San Angelo is expected to see highs near 94.

Overnight lows will generally stay in the 60s, providing mild mornings before daytime heating. The warm, dry pattern is forecast to continue into the weekend.
