S’mores Tonight Kick Off San Angelo State Park’s Remaining June Events

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Families looking for outdoor fun can head to San Angelo State Park tonight, June 14, for “S’mores with a Ranger,” one of several free community events hosted by park rangers throughout June.

Tonight’s event takes place from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Site 62, across from the Chaparral Pavilion. 

Upcoming activities include:

  • Scavenging for Scorpions – Saturday, June 21, from 9 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. at the Chaparral Pavilion.

  • Women’s Hike – Sunday, June 22, from 8:45 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Isabel Harte Parking Lot.

  • Star Party – Wednesday, June 25, from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (location to be announced).

Weekly bison and longhorn viewings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 a.m.

All events are free with park entry.
