Pleasant Weather in San Angelo Monday Ahead of Tuesday Storm Risk

SAN ANGELO, TX — Mild and sunny conditions are expected across West Central Texas today, the final day of March, with afternoon highs ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s.

The National Weather Service reports gusty north winds between 10 to 15 mph this morning will ease by the afternoon. Morning clouds will clear, giving way to mostly sunny skies across the region.

Warmer temperatures are forecast for Tuesday, with highs climbing into the upper 80s and low 90s. San Angelo is expected to reach 90 degrees, with similar temperatures in Ballinger, Junction and Brady.

Late Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night, a line of thunderstorms is expected to move through the region. Some storms may become severe, bringing large hail, damaging winds and the potential for an isolated tornado. Most of the area is under a slight risk (level 2 of 5) for severe weather, according to the Storm Prediction Center.

Cooler temperatures are expected later in the week, with increased rain chances returning by Saturday.
