Cooler Thursday as Winds Calm Before Weekend Warm-Up

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – After a blustery Wednesday, winds are finally calming down across West Central Texas on Thursday, bringing mild temperatures before a warm-up this weekend.

Thursday’s forecast calls for sunny skies and a high near 69 degrees, with calm winds becoming southerly at around 5 mph. Overnight, conditions will be mostly clear, with lows dropping to 44 degrees and a light south wind at 5 to 10 mph.

By Friday, temperatures will begin to climb, reaching 80 degrees, with south-southwest winds at 10 to 15 mph, gusting up to 30 mph. The warming trend continues into the weekend, with highs approaching 90 degrees on Saturday. Another cold front is expected early next week, bringing slightly cooler temperatures by Monday.
