Rain Makes an Appearance in Forecast as Warm Weather Continues

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Warmer-than-usual temperatures are forecast across the San Angelo area this week, with highs reaching near 86°F today, according to the National Weather Service. 

Today’s weather will be sunny with calm winds shifting southward at around 5 mph by the afternoon. Tonight’s forecast calls for mostly clear skies and a low near 51°F, with southwest winds at approximately 5 mph.

The extended forecast shows high temperatures climbing into the upper 70s through the weekend. San Angelo can expect highs of 78°F on Wednesday, 66°F Thursday, and 81°F on Friday. Lows will range from 40°F to 54°F throughout the week.

A cold front is expected to pass through on Wednesday, briefly cooling temperatures before they rise again heading into the weekend. There is also a low chance of showers between Saturday night and Sunday.

According to the NWS, this trend of warmer-than-normal temperatures will persist across the region into early next week.
