SAN ANGELO, TX – Today’s weather forecast calls for a sunny and breezy day across the region, with highs ranging from the mid-60s to mid-70s, according to the National Weather Service.
Winds will pick up throughout the day, becoming northwesterly at 15 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph expected by late morning.
Cloudy conditions in the early morning will clear by late morning, transitioning into sunny skies. However, the elevated fire threat along the I-10 corridor remains a concern due to dry conditions and gusty winds.
Looking ahead, the weekend will bring warmer temperatures. Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid to upper 70s and minimal wind impacts. Monday will continue the warming trend, with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s, accompanied by breezy conditions and gusts over 30 mph.
By Tuesday, New Year’s Eve, a dry cold front will move through the area, dropping temperatures into the mid-50s to mid-60s. New Year’s Day will see cooler weather, with morning lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s and afternoon highs in the low to mid-50s under sunny skies.
