Cold Front to Bring Cooler Temps, Showers Across Big Country

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A weak cold front moving through the area Monday will drop temperatures by 8 to 10 degrees across the Big Country, bringing a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms east of the Abilene-to-Sonora line.

Highs Monday will range from the mid-60s to upper 70s, with northeast winds at 5 to 15 mph. Overnight lows are expected to dip into the upper 30s to lower 50s.

A stronger cold front is expected early Wednesday, further cooling temperatures and causing scattered light rain showers. Daytime highs midweek will drop into the 50s and 60s, with overnight lows falling into the 30s and 40s. By Thursday, conditions are forecast to dry out, and above-normal temperatures are expected through the weekend.

San Angelo will see a high of 72 on Monday, with temperatures dropping to 60 degrees by Wednesday and climbing back into the 60s by the weekend.
