Warm Weather Sunday Before Midweek Cold Front

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Residents can expect warm and breezy weather today, with highs reaching the mid-to-upper 70s across the region, according to the National Weather Service.

Skies will start mostly cloudy before clearing slightly in the afternoon.

Tonight’s lows will drop into the 50s to lower 60s, with south winds between 10 and 20 mph and gusts up to 25 mph.

However, a series of cold fronts is set to bring a noticeable cooldown by midweek. High temperatures will fall into the 50s and 60s starting Wednesday, with lows plunging into the 30s in many areas. San Angelo is forecast to see highs of 58°F Wednesday, while overnight temperatures could dip as low as 31°F.

The NWS notes isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible on Monday and again on Wednesday as the fronts move through.
