SAN ANGELO, TX — Above-normal temperatures in the upper 60s to mid-70s will dominate the forecast for San Angelo and surrounding areas today, according to the National Weather Service.
Highs will reach 71 degrees in San Angelo with mostly clear skies following some morning cloud cover. Winds will remain light and variable.
Sunday will bring similar mild conditions, with highs again in the mid to upper 70s across much of the region. However, a shift is expected early next week as a series of cold fronts brings cooler temperatures and increased chances of rain.
Showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely Monday and Wednesday as temperatures begin to drop.
Highs for the second half of the week will range from the upper 50s to the lower 60s, with overnight lows plunging into the low 30s.
Residents should prepare for the chilly conditions midweek, as the forecast predicts temperatures will dip to freezing in some areas, including San Angelo, by Wednesday night.
