SAN ANGELO, TX - San Angelo and much of West Central Texas will enjoy above-normal temperatures today, with highs reaching the upper 60s to near 70 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Breezy conditions are expected, with winds from the south at 15 to 25 mph and higher gusts in the afternoon.
The warm weather will continue through the weekend, with highs climbing into the mid-70s on Sunday. However, a series of cold fronts will move through the region next week, bringing cooler temperatures and a chance of showers by Wednesday.
Highs are forecast to drop into the mid-50s by Wednesday and Thursday, with lows potentially falling to freezing or below for much of the area, including San Angelo.
Partly to mostly cloudy skies will persist today and over the weekend, creating mild and comfortable conditions before the colder weather sets in.
