Cool Today, Rain Tomorrow

SAN ANGELO, TX — Thursday will bring cool conditions to the area, with highs near 59 degrees under partly sunny skies. Light northeast winds will shift eastward later in the day, with gusts reaching up to 20 mph.

Dense fog affected parts of the region early Thursday morning, reducing visibility to a quarter-mile or less. The National Weather Service advised drivers to proceed with caution until the fog cleared by mid-morning.

Rain is expected to move in on Friday, with a 50% chance of showers throughout the day and highs around 47 degrees. Rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch are forecast. Showers are likely to continue Friday night with similar precipitation amounts.

On Saturday, showers and possible thunderstorms are likely, with a 70% chance of precipitation and a high near 48 degrees. Heavier rainfall amounts are possible in thunderstorms.

Warmer temperatures are expected Sunday and Monday, with highs in the 60s, before another cold front brings cooler conditions early next week.
