SAN ANGELO, TX – West central Texas residents can look forward to a sunny and warmer weekend, with highs reaching the upper 70s and low 80s across the region, according to the National Weather Service.
A weak cold front is forecast to arrive Monday, slightly lowering temperatures. A stronger cold front is expected to follow on Wednesday night, bringing cooler conditions but no rain.
Today, temperatures will peak near 73 degrees under mostly sunny skies, with calm winds shifting to the south at 5 to 10 mph by the afternoon. Overnight lows will drop to around 46 degrees, with light south-southwest winds.
Saturday brings even warmer conditions, with highs near 75 degrees and gusty south-southwest winds up to 25 mph. Overnight lows will remain mild at 57 degrees.
Sunday will be the warmest day of the weekend, with highs climbing to near 79 degrees. Winds from the south-southwest will persist at 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Clear skies will continue into Sunday night, with lows around 54 degrees.
