FORECAST: Mild Weather Expected in San Angelo Area

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Mild and dry conditions are forecasted to settle over San Angelo and surrounding areas following heavy rainfall late last week.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to reach the mid-70s to lower 80s today, with light west winds of 5 to 10 mph under mostly sunny skies.

In the aftermath of the rainfall on November 7 and 8, several locations in West Central Texas recorded heavy precipitation. San Angelo saw 5.63 inches, while Lake Coleman received the highest total, reaching 6.17 inches. Other areas, including Baird and Ballinger, registered totals of 5.51 and 4.86 inches.

The forecast for the upcoming week indicates continued mild and dry weather, with daily highs generally ranging between the low 70s and upper 70s across the region. However, a brief dip in temperatures is expected midweek as a cold front moves through, bringing slightly cooler conditions on Wednesday and Thursday before a gradual warm-up into the weekend.
