Weekend Forecast: Hot Temps, Cold Front to Arrive Early Next Week

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - West Central Texas is set to experience hot weather this weekend, with temperatures soaring into the mid-90s, according to the National Weather Service.

Today, sunny skies are expected, with highs near 94°F. South-southwest winds will range from 5 to 10 mph, with gusts reaching up to 20 mph.

Saturday will be even warmer, with highs near 95°F and similar wind conditions. The heat will persist on Sunday, with temperatures reaching 96°F. Gusty southwest winds of up to 20 mph will continue through the weekend.

However, a cold front is expected to arrive late Sunday night into Monday, bringing cooler temperatures for the start of next week. By Columbus Day, the high will drop to around 91°F, and Monday night will see lows around 57°F as winds shift to a north-northeast direction.
