Cold Front to Bring Relief Next Week After Hot Weekend

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — High temperatures will remain above normal through the weekend, with daytime highs reaching the low to mid-90s across the Concho Valley and surrounding areas.

According to the National Weather Service, conditions today will be mostly clear with light, variable winds shifting southerly at 5 to 10 mph.

Residents in cities like San Angelo, Abilene, and Brady can expect highs of 94°F to 95°F through Sunday. Overnight lows will hover around the mid-60s, offering slightly milder temperatures, although still above seasonal norms.

A significant change in the weather is expected early next week when a cold front moves through the region late Sunday into Monday. The NWS forecasts a sharp drop in temperatures, with highs returning to the 70s by midweek and lows dipping into the upper 40s and low 50s.
