SAN ANGELO, TX – A dense fog advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for portions of the Big Country, Heartland, and Concho Valley.
The advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. today, with visibility expected to be reduced to a quarter-mile or less, creating hazardous driving conditions. The fog is expected to clear later in the morning, with visibility improving after 10 a.m.

As the day progresses, San Angelo and surrounding areas can expect warm temperatures with highs reaching the upper 80s to low 90s. The NWS forecasts that morning clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies in the afternoon, with southeast winds between 5 and 10 mph.

Looking ahead, dry and hot conditions are expected to persist through the weekend. Maximum temperatures in the San Angelo region could climb as high as 99°F by Friday, with overnight lows remaining in the low 70s. Slightly cooler temperatures are forecast for next week, but the heat will continue through the weekend.
